Gerald Elias
With his prizewinning debut novel, Devil’s Trill, in 2009, Gerald Elias was thrust, helter-skelter, into the murky depths of the mystery-writing world, from which––many critically acclaimed books and short stories later––he has yet to emerge. In the meantime, Elias also manages to maintain a career as a professional violinist, conductor, composer, and teacher, having performed worldwide over more decades than he cares to (or is able to) recall. Elias shares Maury Gross’s dream of lying on a couch with a sandwich to watch a baseball game on TV, but that lofty goal has proved elusive…so far.
